My orchestration from the piano score of this waltz by Carl Faust. I have no more information about it. I think it dates from the early 1860’s but I could be wrong. I’ve used an orchestra about the size of the Strauss orchestra of the period. I don’t know how big Faust’s orchestra was but I would expect it to be no bigger than this.
