My orchestration of this gallop by Franz Morelly. It dates from 1832.

The orchestra I have used is probably a bit too large. I have used four valve trumpets rather than two natural ones. This is because the date on the score is 1839. I found a publication date of 1832 after I had finished the orchestration. I didn’t think it was worth changing, The additional two trumpets alternate with the horns and don’t appear much.
