My transcription of the autograph of this waltz help in the Vienna Library in the Rathaus. It was first performed in Dommayer’s in June 1853.

This represents the last of the 32 works Lanner published that I have either transcribed or orchestrated. The work is not quite finished as I have found full scores of some of the works I orchestrated and I will transcribe those in time, and there are some unpublished works and fragments too. Also, some of my earlier efforts could do with some revision now that I am more familiar with Lanner’s style of orchestration.
