This is my orchestration of the third of the four galoppes Op. 97 by Joseph Lanner. The piece dates from 1835.

They are supposed to be in national style – Italian, Spanish, Hungarian and English. I think this is the best of them. It at least has the odd Hungarian tune. I’ve resisted the temptation to do a Berlioz.
