My transcription from the original score of this waltz by Johann Strauss I. It is one of his best early waltzes.

It was written for the carnival season of 1832 and although it was a success it did not survive long in the repertoire of the Strauss orchestra. At this period the style of the waltz was changing rapidly and presumably it became dated.
