My orchestration of a piano score kindly provided by the Johann Strauss Society of Great Britain. The piano score would appear to be all that survives of this piece which is a great pity as it is a very good waltz.

(For the technically inclined, it is, in my opinion, a very good waltz because of the quality of the melodic writing. One of the easiest ways to write a waltz tune is to use repeated two or four bar rhythmic figures to construct it. This is endemic amongst lesser composers but even the greats use it frequently. Think of the first theme of the Blue Danube – Dah Dah Dah Dah – Dit Dit – Dit Dit, [Dah] Dah Dah Dah Dah – Dit Dit – Dit Dit – etc. There’s nothing wrong with this unless it is overused and it often is. There’s none of that here. All six waltz sections are constructed from extended melodies with little repetition within them. Definite Brownie Points as far as I’m concerned)
