This is my orchestration from the Cranz piano score of this march by Johann Strauss II based on themes from his operetta Das Spitzentuch der Königin.

By this time Strauss had already written a number of dances on themes from that operetta and it has to be said that by the time he got around to this march he was scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit.

That said, it’s not a bad march but he had already used most of the tunes in the other dances.
