My orchestration from the piano score of this waltz by Johann Strauss I, first performed on the 1st May 1839. It was named after and dedicated to Marie Taglioni, the famous ballet dancer, who was in Vienna at the time. Lanner also wrote a Taglioni waltz. I have orchestrated that one too.
