My orchestration from the piano score of this polka by Carl Faust, the “Silesian Waltz King”. Although Faust is pretty much forgotten these days I have done a few of his pieces and they have never been anything less than pleasant.

This has to have the oddest title of any piece I have seen. There is no indication on the score as to the reason for the title. It was first published in 1858.
